Southerntrekker: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not responded to recent logs I am archiving it.

Geocache Description:

Wanstead Park has very good pathways around the park some of them are a little muddy in the winter.Great for dog walkers and children....Recommended parking is at N51.34.072 E000.03.210 Or if you have sat nav Wanstead park road and Exeter road junction. Another good parking place is Northumberland Avenue Wanstead N.51.33.896.....E.000.02.435.... Bus routes that pass Wanstead Park are 101 and 308

Dead rotten is part of a themed cache that I have placed in Wanstead park in total there are 9 but only 8 have coordinates the last one is found by gathering the numbers on the lids of the caches and converting them to make the coordinates to find the extra one. You don’t have to it's just as much fun to find a few at a time and come back again when you want more.
Wanstead Park has so many great features loads of lakes and great wooded areas. This area has been forest for a very long time. This great link contains some very useful information and a map you can print off for your route planning
This cache is slightly harder than the others as the GPS reception might let you down a bit. . There is enough old bark round here to completely cover a car so be careful you don’t start looking in the wrong place **remember the theme is within the dead*** where possible Please take time to cover this cache again as this is quite a popular spot for walkers (not the crisp) You will follow the river banks for a while so take care WANSTEAD_PARK </ a>
