Geocache Description:

This is the second geometry based cache. It involves solving a problem in plane geometry to get the cache coords. The coords at the top of the page just get you in the vicinity. The cache is a magnetic nano. Bring a pen or pencil.

This problem involves the right triangle. Builders have been using the right triangle for thousands of years. The Egyptians learned how to use it to ensure square corners and modern day builders still use it the same way. (the 3-4-5 triangle method) The Greek mathematician Pythagoras developed a formula to determine the length of any side of a right triangle. This formula is known as "Pathagorean Theorem". Solve the problem in the photo attachment to get the final coords. Happy cachin'!!!
