Geocache Description:

The cache is located just east of Bazine Kansas and is on a little bit of uneven ground and has some tall grass.

You will be looking for a green ammo can with a log book and some items for trade.

I brought you to this location so that you can have fun finding this cache and have the added bonus of seeing the engravement in the hill and also read the history of why it was done. There is a marker just west of the cache that has the story about the hill. The marker site also is the best place to park and is paved just for that.

The marker begins like this--- In June 1940 when the world was in turmoil, Kenneth R. Timkin, a Bazine school teacher sat in his living room listning to a song......

When you park at the spot for finding the cache you can read the rest and view the hill. The First to Find will also have the option of picking up a Travel Bug and helping it with it's mission. Enjoy and be safe!
