Geocache Description:

The Bus Road Trail is named for an overturned Kenworth split-level bus, laying on it's side alongside the trail. It's deep in the woods of the Tradition Lake Plateau.

How did the bus get here? Now just a skeleton and rusty, it looks like it's been here for years. The cache is a small rubber-maid container with room for a small travel bug or two.

Summer time cachers: The terrain ratings has been increased due to reports of nasty nettles. Be advised that proper clothing is recommended.

17 October 2009 - History of the bus. A recent brochure by the City of Issaquah and available near the trail head displays a picture of what the bus may have looked like when it roamed the woods transporting work crews on the logging roads.
