Just in time for the holiday season, the Festivus cache is tucked away in a quiet, restful spot.
The cache was replaced on Sept 9, 2014. It is an entirely new type of cache.
Here is your opportunity to celebrate Festivus. Watch out for barbed wire, tho.
An 'aluminum' pole is in place for your holiday pleasure, no matter the month. The feat of strength will involve fighting the troll living near the cache to the death. Good luck. Air your grievances in your log. Get those grievances off your chest for the new year! Don't worry about insulting your fellow cachers. They'll understand.
The Festivus episode of Seinfeld still is funny after all these years.
There are two ways to access the trail to the cache. Enter the path either on Crisp Avenue or on Via De Marcos. You can park near N37 15.183 W122 00.324 on Via De Marcos.
The access points on both ends are marked as a public walking trail. If entering at Crisp Ave, follow the trail until it reaches pavement, then turn left up the pavement and follow it around to the right. If entering on Via De Marcos, the walk will be no more than 1/4 mile. At the end of the road, say 'Hi fellas'. (If you get a response, beat a hasty retreat).
There is a lot of tree cover there. It seems to be a black hole of signals.
The current coords are the average of four marks. The hint should give ample help in locating the cache.
