Geocache Description:

Located at the Oklahoma end of the scenic Talimena Drive near Talihina, Oklahoma.

The Talimena Scenic Drive winds 54 miles along the top of the Winding Stair Mountains to Rich Mountain in Arkansas. This route is a popular destination for motorists two-wheeled and four-wheeled. There's several worthwhile stops down the road, and the view of the fall foliage in the Ouachitas are spectacular.
This cache is at the eastern end of the Talimena Drive, and is a gateway to the Talimena Treasures series. The cache is small, and is pretty much log only, but holds some small items. Plenty of parking, restrooms, and a visitor center is open during most days except winter.
