Geocache Description:

The cache is located in a rural reserve north east of Nelson.

You can walk along the fence line from the car park near the road or drive to S 41° 10.550 E 173° 25.530 where you will be just 50 metres south of the cache. Do Not drive past the end of the gravel if it has been wet. Your GPS reception should be very good. Please close the gates and mind the electric fence.

After you have found the cache, you can cross a small stream and walk down to the estuary. Also, please take the opportunity to drive to the end of the public road. The drive will offer a great view of the estuary behind Delaware Bay.

The cache is a 400ml camo-painted cantainer. It initially contained a log book, pencil, one "signature" item and numerous trading items.
