Geocache Description:

Scenic creek setting

Runny Nose

Locate in the Barossa Goldfields; hidden deep in the Para Wirra Recreational Park and right under the Devils nose is this tranquil billabong.

I discovered this location by accident.
I had entered the incorrect position for Devil's nose into my GPS and this was where I ended up.
If you like hiking and picturesque Australian bushland locations this is a spot well worth a visit.
Sit and relax on the rocks and dangle you feet in the pond.
(Probably not an option by the end of summer).

This cache site can be accessed by following the Barossa Goldfields Phoenix bushwalking trail.
While you are in the area why not continue on to the excellent cache location
"Quel est le Blazers de nez du Diable!"
which has magnificent views over the areas you have been hiking.

Junior Parrothead said it was called the Phoenix trail because your legs exploded in flames by the time you finish it.

Another Barossa Goldfield Caching experience.
