Geocache Description:

Park at Redwood Park and take a hike in the redwoods.

This cache could be considered a second leg after finding the "Redwood Park" cache, which I also placed. It is also located within the Arcata Community Forest. This cache is a bit more difficult to get to and find. The trail gets steeper and more overgrown and one must step over roots and perhaps a creek depending on weather.
Due to its increased difficulty I have placed the "better" prizes here. Keep that in mind when you trade if you plan on finding both caches.

Cache is a large olive drab ammo box. It may be difficult to get a reading on your GPS due to the huge trees blocking the satellite signals. Getting a signal is probably the most difficult part of finding this cache, once you get into the right area the hiding spot should be pretty obvious. You can get within 20 feet of the cache by staying on the trail.
