The Towers at Marekele National Park has a tarred road up to the 2043m radio masts. There is a short walk from the car park to the cache just below the towers.
Marekele National Park is in the heart of the Waterberg Mountains and has a variety of wildlife including elephant, rhino as well as the big cats. Lion were recently released into the reserves which now make it home to the big 5. Don’t expect to see them since the areas are vast and the numbers are still small. There is also an amazing variety of birds. Most parts of the park are only accessible by 4x4. To get to the cache is an easy drive and well worth it, you don’t need a 4x4 either. It’s short rocky walk from the car park to the cache.
The Cache is a small container placed amongst the rocks.
