Green Mystery Cache

This, the Green cache requires you to have found the Blue and Yellow caches. The coordinates given are for my chosen parking place, not the actual cache. You need to substitute the values given in the primary colour caches for the equivalent letters to locate the cache –
N55° 47.(Ga)(Gb)(Gc)’ W4° 46.(Gd)(Ge)(Gf)’
In Blue you will find Ga, Gc and Ge
In Yellow you will find Gb, Gd and Gf
The location, Knockside Hills is another one of those places that I’ve driven past a number of times and wanted to visit. I love this drive across the hills from Kilbirnie to Largs. What better excuse than that for placing a cache?
The above coordinates are for the suggested parking place. It’s on the side of the road opposite a stile. From there the only thing to do head straight up the hill. It’s a cache placers dream and a cache finders nightmare – the side of the hill is covered in boulders, there are hundreds of places I could have hidden it! The 360° views from the top are amazing so take binoculars and a camera. The cairn on top of the first peak has a sort of chamber built in it so you can shelter and have a rest here before regrouping and heading off for the actual cache.
Tentative colour link – There’s a Green Hill to the West of Knockside Hills but it didn’t look very exciting/challenging so you just get to nod at it as you pass. I have attempted to gather things together of the same colour (harder than it sounds!) for this cache so please try and colour-match your swaps!
Remember to note the equivalent letters and numbers in this secondary cache to enable you to find the white and black caches.
