Geocache Description:

This cache is located at the site of the only Civil war battle in Madison Co. There is a restored log cabin that was used as a hospital during the battle. There are also several monuments and a mass confederate grave located here. The cache is just a short hike into the wood, but the terrain can be a bit tricky.
