Langdon Hall Country House is one of those 5 star hotels that most of us can only ever dream about staying at.  It's the sort of place that is frequented by Hollywood stars when they are in the area.  Construction of the original estate was completed in 1902 and totalled more than 25,000 square feet.  It was sold by family members and converted to a "hotel and spa" in 1989.

Today, Landon Hall is situated on a 32 acre parcel of land.  They maintain 12KM of hiking trails on the land behind the main hotel, and encourage locals to make use of the trails also.  The trails are suitable for hiking and cycling.  Fido is allowed, but try to keep him on a leash.

This is the first of two caches we have hidden in the area.  You'll have to retrieve the 4 digit code from the first cache in order to locate the second.

The first cache is hidden about 10m from the nearest trail.  In the summertime, watch out for wasps in the vicinity.  Cache is above ground so should be quite winter friendly.  Cache is a 8"x8"x2" rubbermaid container covered with camo tape.
