Duck Pond Cache Traditional Cache
Crazydonkey & Donkeyette: Good run on this our only cache, but too far away now. Thanks to all who visited. Hate to let go but with ongoing health issues we can no longer provide the attention this cache deserves. It just (sadly) goes missing far too often for no good reasons.

A fairly easy to get to cache that can be enjoyed by practically any age geocachers. Located near the center of Rancho Bernardo in a quaint little park surrounded by commercial establishments in a place named Webb Lake Park. Great place for a picnic and it is also pet friendly!
A quaint little park hidden away in the center of town! We use to call this place "Fake Lake" many years ago and it was a really neat place to go feed ducks, watch birds and to teach kids how to fish. Neither fishing or duck feeding is allowed here any longer however it is still a nice place to come and visit, relax, have a picnic, watch the ducks and birds and turtles and perhaps even log a find! There are also many species of birds that stop here to drink and rest on their way to and from somewhere. There is a cement pathway that surrounds the park, and the cache container is located about thirty feet off from this trail towards the water. It's a fairly flat easy stroll across the grass to get to where the cache is located. The container itself is a small capsule type container and contains only a small logbook. You will need to bring your own writing instrument to log your find!
Keep a cautious eye open for muggles and please rehide the cache carefully and discretely. Enjoy!
