Geocache Description:

Take a break at the Texas Visitor center and go for a stretch. Beware of possible spiders, snakes, and GATORS.

Remember that in a TB transfer you want to Trade TBs for TBs. Please use an even trade on the TBs or feel free to leave extras. This is to have a choice of TBs for the next person trading them out.

This cache is in honor of all the travelers that move around on the holidays that we setup a Travel Bug Transfer. There is various swag and 3 TBs and 1 Geocoin to get it started. This is a great place to put those Tbs you want to get moving along or just to get some new ones. There are turn arounds close if heading in either direction so you can use this heading into or out of the state. If you are heading East on IH-10 take the Sabine River Turnaround and it will bring you right into the Texas visitor center. There is a turn around just a short way down IH-10 that will get you heading East again within a couple of miles. West bound traffic on IH-10 can just slip right on over to the visitor center and get right back on the highway. Heading in any direction it will not take you out of your way. We placed it during the very rare snow we got on the 24th of December 2004.
