The object of this cache is to bring you to two views of the Salmon Falls River and one where the Great Works River meets the Salmon Falls River that I consider scenic even with the increase of construction in our area. You will drive a little over a mile from the first waypoint to the last and walk probably a total of 150 to 200ft.. There's plenty of parking at the first two waypoints but only 2 or 3 parking places between the "parking between signs" area at the final cache. In the summer it's best to get there early to mid-morning because the parking might be occupied by swimmers or alwife fishermen in the PM.
The first waypoint is in Rollinsford, NH . The remaining waypoints are in South Berwick, ME
This is a three part cache. One of the waypoints is written on a small magnet( the ones that are hard to feel with your finger) and the second one is the same kind of a magnet, well hidden, wedged between a backrest of a park bench. The final cache is very small and will require you to bring your own writing instrument.
Be on the lookout for an American Bald Eagle at the last stop. I've seen him on three different days perched in the same tree across the river.
The first waypoint is on American Legion land and I was given permission to put it there. All other is public land.
My idea for hiding a cache is to hide it from muggles but not make it discouraging to Geocachers. I hope the hints are very helpful.
