I placed this cache to show a hidden trailhead into Huddart Park. Enjoy!
This cache was placed to celebrate the 60th birthday of Smokey Bear. It is filled with all sorts of Smokey Bear goodies. There is even a stuffed toy for the FTF!
The parking for this cache is problematic due to the excessive posted no parking signs near the trailhead. The closest parking is .18 miles from the trailhead at: N37 26.702 W 122 17.045. You can park on the south side of the road here and follow the road to the trailhead. The trailhead is at N37 26.581 W122 17.165. It is the Crystal Springs Trailhead. There are no dogs allowed here.
You will be walking through an easement between private property into Huddart Park and a redwood grove. This cache will place you in close proximity to three other caches: All That Jazz III, Photobox, and Crystal Springs "Tower of Power".
