Christmas Tree Walk Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

d&c: The Christmas trees have nearly all gone, so the cache might as well go too!!! It has been replaced many times already so is obviously in a vulnerable place.

Geocache Description:

The cache is just under four miles south west of Newbury, north of Ball Hill. Suggested parking: N 51 22.489 W 001 23.430. Grassy path with slight gradient.

When you walk to the cache look to your left - there are lots and lots of Christmas trees growing - hence the name of the cache. Well there were when we first hid the cache. Now, you have to look hard to see any at all (but there are a few!). The field is now an environmentally friendly burrial ground - very peaceful! When we set the cache there were a few friendly ponies in the fields to the right. The cache itself is a small black metal box containing a small selection of goodies and mini log book. Please fill this in. Thank you. If you have trouble opening the box, try a coin - it works for us!
