Hiding spot is located along a hiking trail on the ETSU campus. The trail begins near the WETS radio station.
Park at 36.18.056 and 082.21.674 and proceed downhill past stop sign to trailhead marker on the right. Trail goes up a hill between the Tennessee Regional Public Health building and the WETS radio station building. It winds around the hill, crests at the cell phone tower and decends toward the campus. The trail continues above the railroad tracks and University Parkway allowing unexpected views of south Johnson City and the downtown area in the distance. The cache container is a camo tape covered powdered drink container with logsheet and tradeables.
Cache is close to trail, no bushwacking necessary. Please rehide cache container well. Round trip hike might be a mile with a few ups and downs. Trail is leaf covered and may be slippery if moist. For the curious, go back up to the fence line and follow it just a bit further to find and unusual "practice" area.
