Questo maniero di dimensioni ridotte, 36 metri di lunghezza per 12
di altezza, fu costruito nel XV secolo ed apparteneva, come tutta
la provincia di Ferrara, agli Estensi. E' ritenuto infestato fin
dalla seconda guerra mondiale e pare che alcuni abitanti del luogo
siano stati trucidati e seppelliti alle spalle del maniero, per
altro i cumuli di terra sotto cui dovrebbero trovarsi i corpi sono
ancora ben visibili. Gran parte del castello è stata ristrutturata
a scopo artistico-culturale e vi è stato costruito addirittura un
ristorante. Sembra che un dipendente del locale abbia visto, una
sera, una figura luminescente aggirarsi nei pressi dell'entrata
principale, durante la notte, inoltre, sono stati sentiti dei
rumori all'interno del castello. Gli esperti di paranormale,
condotti sul posto, ritengono di sentire forti presenze,
soprattutto in una delle depandance del castello non ancora
ristrutturate. Lo stesso gestore del ristorante sarà ben lieto di
raccontarvi tutti i particolari sui fantasmi della dimora, fra cui
vi è quello di Laura Dianti, amante del duca Alfonso I. It is not
