Our thanks to Lord Darcy, who very kindly replaced the missing container for us when we were unable to do so.
Daddy Hole is a grassy plain above high cliffs. Though now partly built upon, a large open grass area remains. The views in clear weather are spectacular, both by day and by night, though after dark the car park may hold cars with couples doing what couples do.
The cliffs are popular with climbers and are a moderately rich source of fossils. The open grass area is much used by dog walkers and for ball games. The location is a little off the beaten track, and though it can get quite busy it's mainly frequented by locals and most visitors never discover it.
The cache is a soda preform bottle.. The difficulty level is 2 as the location can be quite busy. The terrain is 1.5 as the cache may not be suitable for wheelchairs. Please be discrete when removing and retrieving the cache.
