This is our first cache hide which we developed in the pouring rain late on New Year’s Eve. The hike is suitable for young children and jogging strollers. The original cache contains many fun toys, plus a special prize for the First To Find.

The CDA has received an anonymous tip that Randall may have returned to Monstropolis. His intentions are unknown, yet presumed to be evil and vengeful. Fearing retribution for exiling Randall, Mike and Sully have repainted Boo’s door and hidden it deep within the woods near the Monster, Inc. headquarters.
To thwart Randall’s diabolical plans, volunteers are needed to periodically check the door in its hidden location and ensure that it does not fall into Randall’s devious claws. The reward for your bravery is in a camouflaged container near the door.
To find Boo’s door, you must first go to the Monsters, Inc. headquarters located at the above coordinates. At this spot you will find a large “Bent” key which unlocks the door. Below the “Bent” key are 5 digits on a plaque. These digits will help you determine the location of the reward cache.
The container is at coordinates:
N 32º 53.ABC, W 117º 14.DE.
A equals the last number on the plaque minus 1,
B equals the first number on the plaque,
C equals (the third number on the plaque minus the fourth number) times Pi,
D equals the sum of all five numbers on the plaque plus 1,
E equals the fifth number on the plaque.
(Since you probably do not have a Monster’s Inc. employee parking tag, you will have a difficult time locating a legal parking space near the “Bent” key plaque. Therefore, a co-pilot who can stay with your cachemobile during this quick jaunt to the “Bent” key plaque is advisable. Meter parking is available closer to Boo’s door.)
