Geocache Description:

This is the third cache of a series that will take you down along a variety of Roads, Lanes, Streets, Highways, Avenues, Boulevards & Thoroughfares. These roads may be of interest for one of many reasons but the only way to find out the reason for this one is to get out and take a gander.

To begin, take a drive to the listed co-ordinates. You should be at a T-Junction on a semi-major road. The boulevard for this cache is the road that branches off the semi-major road towards the south. The name of this thoroughfare sounds like another more well known Melbourne road but the last letter is different.

About half way along this road, look out for a tight hairpin bend and an electricity pole just around this bend. The name of the road changes at this point and the two road names point in each direction from this pole. (Yes, this boulevard in technically "Two" roads but this isn't the place to stop and argue the point.) There is a small yellow vertical number plate on the pole. Substitute the numbers for the following letters - ABCDEFG.

By now you have probably realised that we have included this road in the series, simply because it's pretty and it's a fun drive. However, it could also be described as pretty, not fun and not wide enough for a bicycle, let alone this tank that we are trying to squeeze along it depending, of course, on your point of view. Continue along the road until it ends at a stop sign at another T-Junction which is a great place to practice the handbrake starts in a manual car. The cache is now just a short drive away. Use the information as gained from the pole to substitute for the letters in the following co-ordinates.

S37° 54.(B+G)(B)(A) E145° 20.(E-A)(B)(D)

The cache is a 35mm film canister. It is in an extremely open position and you will need to time it very well to retrieve and replace without looking suspicious. Please ensure the cache is well hidden on replacement. After signing the log you may want head back to the boulevard and travel it in the opposite direction just for fun. No swaps available.

Please note that the instructions to this cache were updated on 26/4/21 as the pole was replaced and the numbers updated.
