Geocache Description:

Along the Black River. Park at the Kay Environmental Center off of Pottersville Road. This is a log only cache so bring a pen/pencil.

The cache is placed along a beautiful section of the Black River. While the most direct round trip to/from the cache is about a 1.5 mile hike on the Red Trail, if you have time you should explore other portions of this beautiful park. The trails along the river which extend south beyond the cache and north for about 2.5 miles to the Cooper Mill are particularly scenic.

This should not be too difficult as the container (a 2" metal tube) is very visible.

Just to entice you, I've included a picture of the river near the cache. Image
