This is our first cache - we placed it on New Years day in 2005. It is not far from the road on my parent's land. The house is about 1/8 mile from the cache, so don't worry about disturbing anyone.
It shouldn't take more than 5 or 10 minutes to locate the cache. There is a small hill to climb that is covered in mowed prairie grass, but no rocks or limbs to stumble over. The cache contains various trinkets including plastic farm animals, toy motorcycles, stickers, etc.
As a bonus - For a great view of the local wheat fields and the hills near Lindsborg, walk about 100 feet west of the cache and look to the south. It looks best just before sunset. To the east you can see the airport and control tower and in the distant southwest is the Smoky Hill bombing range.
