This is one of two Geocaches I have placed in this area. This one is only about 30 metres or so from where you can park your Geomobile and the other involves a walk and is intended for those who have a bit more time (about 2.5 hours). Both are suitable for the Geokids.

There are some other Geocaches in this area and if you are coming from them be careful if you only have a 2WD Geomobile. If your Geomobile is 4WD you can use the road that starts at S27 22.364 E152 10.668, the sign says Dry Weather Road Only. If, like mine, your Geomobile sometimes thinks it’s a 4WD but is really a 2WD you should head towards to S27 22.625 E152 09.691 and turn down this road, you will soon meet the 4WD track on your left and you should turn right here (National Park Rd).
Turn left at S27 23.450 E152 09.134 ignoring the Private Keep Out sign (this is an old foresty road and logging finshed here years ago but the bearly readable sign has stayed) and park at S27 23.533 E152 09.375 just before a gateway. After rain 2WD may not get quite this far. This site and the walk described for the nearby "Radio Ga Ga" geocache are published in a book of bushwalks in the Toowoomba area so access is not a problem.
This small area is home to a lovely little grove of native blackbean trees and was full of birdlife the day I placed the cache, which was just after a storm.
The tree cover still hinders satellite reception so I hope the new co-ords are okay.
Go past the fence and through the gate and the cache is not far off the road. Watch out for stinging nettle.
