Geocache Description:

Let's all get a jump on Spring cleaning this year!

Saturday, January 22nd
8am-4pm

Here's an opportunity to clean up our parks and spruce up our caches!

Stop by early to join up with other cachers and pick a deserving park. Pick up gloves and bags for CITO. There will also be supplies on hand to fix up and winterize your caches: baggies for logs, laminated stash notes. Bring plain ammo cans to be painted and stenciled.

After trashing out the parks, return for lunch (bring your own, drinks will be provided) and spend the afternoon making caches and swapping stories.

You need not come here first before visiting your CITO site, just take a picture of you in the act (on the day of the event) to bring back when you are done.

All participants will receive a Commemorative Button of this event!

1/6/04: So far the suggested sites are the area around Almaden Lakes Park (including the bike trail above and below the park), and portions of the Los Gatos Creek Trail. Both are very close to the event site. You can hook up with other cachers at the event in the morning and head over to the parks from there.

Schedule Update:
8am onward: stop by for supplies, come early to hook up with other cachers.
11-1pm: Meet back at the workshop for lunch and socializing.
1-4pm: CITO for folks who couldn't make it earlier, or head out for some cache maintenance.
I'll be hosting cachers at the workshop all afternoon, so drop by anytime, this event will be very informal!
Additionally, in the afternoon, I will demo making signature tokens in polymer clay. Perhaps some of the rest of you can share some skills or tutor us all a bit then as well?
