Another in the series of caches along the Spadra Creek Nature Trail.
We named this one Tweener because it is between extremes on both difficulty & terrain. It is also between the trail & the street.
Lots of options to get to this cache. You could walk the entire loop & pick up the many other caches along the way. You can park at the junction of Poplar Street and Grandview Ave. If you park here it is a short downhill walk to the trail via the stairs & a short walk to the cache. You also could bail off Grandview Avenue as we did in hiding this one.
Spadra Creek Nature Trail makes a 2.6-mile complete loop that is easiest if walked in a clockwise direction. Planned improvements to pave & light the trail on the other side of creek have just been completed. Hopefully they will do this side of the trail loop in the future. The peaceful serenity along this trail has always been an enjoyable favorite.
This cache is located on city property & placed with permission of the Clarksville City Parks Department.
Cache container is a 30-caliber ammo can. You can bring the big stuff to trade at this cache. OK, OK, so we decided to hide something other than a micro.
