Geocache Description:

This is the first traditional cache in Wendover! This cache is within easy walking distance of the Wendover Casinos (less than 3/10ths of a mile). If you drive, you can park across the street, then carefully cross the 4-lane highway. Near the cache, you will walk about 400 feet of uneven downhill land. It is also possible to find a back dirt road directly to the cache. **NOTE** there have been reports of vagrants using the cache for sleeping. You may want to avoid this cache after dark.

After you have gotten tired of gambling, (or lost all your money??), or if your friends are STILL GAMBLING, and you want a good excuse for a fresh-air break, come find this cache. It is large enough for most any travel bug, and travel bugs are WELCOME! Since this cache is in the middle of all the casinos, It would be nice if the exchange items were casino-related. This site is near an ATV trail used by Wendover residents, so if you hear an engine approaching, just keep walking until they leave. NOTE: I see the bulldozers getting closer. They are building something new on the west side of this cache. I know that the dirt pile is now within 20 feet of my hiding place. Some day, it will get wiped out in the name of progress! If that happens, please let me know so I can de-activate the site. NOTE: I no longer drive busses to Wendover, so I cannot maintain this cache. This cache is available for adoption.
