From Jacksonville, take MD 145 (Sweet Air Road) east about 3 miles. Turn left on Green Road, left on Moore's Road, left on Dalton Bevard Road to the parking lot for Sweet Air section of the Gunpowder State Park System. Parking lot is N39 32.147' W076 30.265'.Check the sign on the lot to find the trail to Barley Pond. Stay on the trail until the last 30 feet. Your walk will be less than a mile but you may want to plan a loop hike while you are looking at the sign. This little known park has several miles of well marked, well maintained trail. Enjoy.
The cache is a green plastic coffee can with a black lid.
