A standard ammo box. Level walking, some on a dirt road, and need to go through a narrow fence opening. Otherwise OK for a stroller but not for a wheelchair. Bring the children and the dog.
Cache was moved and new log placed on Jan. 10, 2005 after initial placement was vandalized. The area is along a sandwash bank - a prime sand trout fishing area. Bring your dry flies. Sometimes water comes down the wash but as long as it doesn't flow bank to bank, the sand trout can move away and avoid drowning.
No challenge here. The cache site is obvious from 50 feet away. But the environs present a pleasant place to walk or jog, walk the dog, ride the bike, skate, throw the frisby, play chase games, etc.
To avoid trampling down the area immediatly around the cache, I suggest you grab the box and move away 30-40 feet before fooling around with it.
