A
Challenge for Puzzle People!
I’m constantly amazed at the ingenuity of
my fellow geocachers in coming up with ways to convert
seemingly unrelated data into cache coordinates. This invariably
results in my spending hours trying to solve puzzle caches when I
should be doing any number of other things. So, hopefully, here's a
little payback. Naturally, the above coordinates are totally
irrelevant to the location of the cache. The correct coordinates
are:
North: Mike Foxtrot Victor, Delta Charlie
Alpha, Mike Charlie Delta
West: Lima Alpha Six Three, Delta Alpha
Bravo, Hotel Quebec Zulu
The puzzle has several
levels.
Deciphering the above gibberish is only the first
step.
The
difficulty level on this one is based solely on the puzzle, not on
the cache location. Hey, I'll even tell you it's an ammo box
behind a tree just off the road! You can park within about
ten feet of it, though it is not in any way wheelchair
accessible.
As with any puzzle, some will hit on the
solution quickly, others will not. If you fall into the latter
category and are looking for hints, I will be happy to help,
PROVIDED YOU FIRST FILE A DNF. The puzzle is the most important
part of the "search!"
