Francis Ford Coppola's epic saga of a young Italian American's rise to power. A wonderfully crafted piece of cinema that showcases a powerful young actor, Al Pacino (seriously, check out how young this guy is). Academy award winning film that is brilliant, powerful and a not-so-subtle lesson in Machiavelli principles.
So, what does this have to do with an event, you may be asking. Good question. My good friend (who happens to be my Godfathers son, see, there is a connection) is coming into town. He is the guy who, last February, told me about a really geeky hobby that he just got into called geocaching. So, for all of you who have been struggling with my caches, here is the guy to blame.
Also, I thought this would be a good winter/midweek/pizza break for everyone. Bring travel bugs, geocaching stories, family members.....just come, get together and have a good time. Now...on to the specifics.
The date will be January 19, 2005. The location is Flying Pie Pizzaria, 7804 Se Stark St, Portland Oregon. The party will start about 6:30PM. If you can not make that, come when you can, we should be there till about 9. Everyone is on their own for the meal, but the pizza is truly excellent. Any other questions, please feel free to send me an email.
This event IS children and family friendly.
Please let me now on this site if you plan to attend the dinner, and how big your party will be, so I can inform the restaurant.
