PLEASE!! Keep in mind the idea of trade even or
trade up. We try to keep nicer swag in this cache, but it is hard
to do when cachers take a $5 flashlight, and leave a 25-cent piece
of McCrap. If you don't have a $5 item to leave, then please don't
take the $5 item that's in the cache. Also, do NOT leave cash in
the cache. Trade items, or trade nothing, please.
After hunting
Boobie Girdlebuns in Austin, Texas, my new caching name was
Loopy Wafflesniffer! I think I laughed out loud for 3 days and then
chuckled quietly for 2 days after that over my new name! I decided
to borrow the theme for this cache so everyone could share in the
fun.
You will go to two waypoints and then a final destination
determining your new name. Use your REAL name for this…. Not your
caching name! Follow the instructions at each stop and be sure to
write your name down as you go along…you’ll need it at the end. You
will also get the coordinates for the next stop at each
waypoint.
The above coordinates will take you to the parking area. The
parking lot is a small dirt lot at the Howe Farm off of Long Lake
Road in Port Orchard. From the parking lot you will need to proceed
to Waypoint 1 at N 47° 31.865 W 122°
34.683.
For those of you who haven’t been to the Howe Farm…please note
that there are NO bathroom facilities or water on the farm and
there are no lights out there so night-time caching will require a
flashlight. This is also a huge off-leash dog park.
At waypoint one, which is a decontamination kit (a plastic box
about 5 inches long, 3 inches wide and 2 ½ thick) you will find out
what your first name will be. Write your new name down and
take it with you. You’ll find the waypoint for the next stop at the
bottom of the name list.
At waypoint two, which is also a decontamination kit, you will
find what the first part of your new last name will be. The
waypoint for the last stop on this cache is also at the bottom of
the list of names.
At the final cache location you will find an ammo box. Inside
the box is quality swag (please trade equal or trade up…no McSwag),
the usual log book AND the last list you will need to find out what
your new caching name is. Add this final name to the name you found
in waypoint 2 to get your new last name.
REQUIRED! When you log your cache on the web site, you MUST
include your new name in the on-line log. Please note, that the
names you would find at Boobie Girdlebuns or from any on-line name
changer will NOT match the name you will
get here. The letter to name conversions on this cache were made up
specifically for this cache. If your new name is not posted,
I will DELETE your log!! You have been
warned.
This cache is a short walk (about .5 mile) around Howe Farm, is
designed to be kid friendly, fun for all ages and easy to do in any
weather. There's no bushwhacking and no slogging through swampy
areas although during the rainy season water will pool up in
areas.
Wafflesniffers! was inspired by the cache
Boobie Girdlebuns by Mrs. Captain Picard in Austin, Texas.
This cache is dedicated to the memory of Jerald Deal.
