Geocache Description:

DO NOT COME HERE ONCE THERE HAS BEEN ANY SERIOUS SNOW ON TIMP!! This is a night cache which requires a flashlight. I think it will be fun, but there is a spot where the trail is washed out and some bushwhacking, so the 4 in terrain at night is definitely earned. It would probably be 3 1/2 in the day. Not a good idea for kids, but try my brother's South Fork Night Cache GCJE7M for a more family friendly adventure.

If you found this before it was a night cache, you can relog it now as it is completely different. Suggested parking cords are 20.903/35.562 where there is a small parking lot. You can access going east or west, but it's easy to miss.

The coordinates lead to where you need to use your flashlight to guide you. The path you will be led is fairly straight forward until near the end, but as I said, the terrain is harder at night. It's rocky and uneven, and it would be easy to bang your shin on the large rocks covered by weeds in the dark. The trail has washed out in one section where you could slide down the sandy slope into the creek. Not broken bone dangerous, but scrape and bruise dangerous. We found good footing, but the little footholds are small. You will have to use your hands as you bushwhack uphill near the end. This is an adventure--come prepared and have fun!
