The cache is located a little off the Bur Oak Trail in Schnell Recreation Area. The main trail is about a 1.5 mile loop. A great little trail to hike or mountain bike. The trail is very family friendly.
The day we stashed the cache we observed about 8-10 wild turkeys and a couple white tailed deer before we placed the cache. The original cache contained: 1)log book and pencil 2) Lance Armstrong "Live Strong Wristband" 3)Hand-crafted "victory shoe" 4)ND State Patrol mini ice scraper 5) money clip 6)Sax Motor Key Chain 7)Letvin Equipment mini-tool 8) Rod the Rocket Beanie Baby When your out on the trail check out the sight of Young Man's Butte. It's off to the southeast on private land. It's the highest point in Stark County with an elevation of 2747 feet. Also read the info available at the trailhead. Neat little place. I wonder what Custer thought of it as he passed through?
