This cache is located out in the desert off the north shore road
of Lake Mead. This is one of our favorite areas for off roading and
beautiful desert views.
There are at least 3 dirt roads heading out to the cache area.
Depending on the route taken you must drive at least 2 miles of
dirt roads to get to the cache area. In rainy conditions 4 wheel
drive is a must. We have gone to this area several times in dry
conditions without 4 wheel drive, so use your own judgement. After
getting close to the coordinates you will have to make a short hike
to get to the cache. Please wear good hiking shoes or boots and
bring gloves. The rock formations in this area are sharp.
Always remember. This is the desert, with all its dangers. Bring
plenty of water and let someone know where you will be. And always
watch for critters.
