Geocache Description:

Samuel L. Taylor and his family were early pioneers in an area originally known as “Sand Town.” The family prospered as farmers and livestock breeders. Travel to these coordinates to reach the Taylor Family Cemetery memorial plaque to find additional information to determine the coordinates to the final cache location.

In 2004, the Emerald Sound Property Owners Association in conjunction with descendants of the Taylor family, cleaned up, fenced, and memorialized the cemetery next to one of the neighborhood parks. You will be able to drive right up to the memorial marker.

Cache location is:

33 11.abc N
097 00.def W

abc = (2 times [Samuel L. Taylor’s age at death]) minus 5
def = [The year Taylor arrived from North Carolina] minus [six times the total years Moses, Richard, and Benjamin lived] minus 102

This cache is located across from DoctorLogistic's home. The bluff over the lake is home to a silver fox.

Congratulations to Alchemist2000 and Code Poet for FTF. Two FTFs in one day!
