This regular cache is one of a series hidden along the Western
Md. Rail Trail. For avid hikers, the round trip is about forty
miles. It is more manageable on bike or roller blades. Parking is
plentiful along most of its length. Most bike enthusiasts prefer to
park at its SE terminus near Big Pool or in Hancock, which is
roughly the mid-point of the trail.
This cache tube has been altered to blend with its’ nestling
place. It contains a log and a number of smallish trade items.
Bring your own writing implement. No bushwhacking, danger or
wandering far off the trail are involved in retrieving this cache.
