Geocache Description:

You do not have to park on the church parking lot. This is only a short ways from a paved side road next to the church parking lot. While the cache is not located on church property, we request that you not visit the site between 9am and noon on Sunday.

This cache is NOT on the grounds of the Harmony Presbyterian Church on Highway 103 North of Clarksville, but it is close to them on family property. Harmony Church was incorporated on February 24, 1844, and is one of the oldest established churches in Johnson County. A small number of the charter members of this congregation came from Wilson County, Tennessee, in 1831, including my great great grandfather, Abraham Laster. He deeded two acres of ground to the church in 1858. The current building was built between 1915 and 1917 by the people of the community and dedicated on June 27, 1920, after the final payment on the church debt was made. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994 through the efforts of mbl. This cache is on land that has remained in our family since 1831.

While in this area, you may want to visit the Toby Loop Cache, the First Grave Cache, and the Horsehead Creek Cache.

Please try to replace the cache in the same manner in which you found it so the next cacher will have the same challenge. If the cache needs attention, please email.
