NOTE: THE COORDINATES IN THE WP ARE CURRENTLY INCORRECT. USE AN OFFSET OF S+ .171 and E- .039

This is a 2 stage multi-cache. The way point is a clear preform which does not need to be opened. Take time to enjoy the experience.

Sadly, The signature sign for Paradise Corner has disappeared from near start. (See the attached photograph. Thanks to Lt Sniper)

*History Note: Added 20 May 2016.*

This cache was placed in January 2005 and the area has changed a lot since then.

Originally the access to WP1 was along a track through the trees and the WP was located beside this track. You could then access the road that can be seen on the other side of the fence at WP1 and have a pleasant stroll to WP2 and pass the "Paradise Corner" sign that was near WP2 and possibly spot kangaroos and wild horses along the way.

From there a stroll along a narrow BMX track through the trees got you to WP3.

The stroll from WP3 to the cache location has not changed much although the lantana around the cache hide has grown a lot.

With the installation of the security fence around the perimeter of the Greenbank Army Reserve the direct access is not available from WP1 to WP2. Also the track from WP2 to WP3 has been reclaimed by nature.

"Cache updates 6th April 2022."

It is now 17 years since I placed the original cache and the environment has changed considerably so I have had to revamp the whole experience.

WP1 is seriously overgrown and access is now through a lot of serious bush so I have removed it. It was at S 27° 40.119' E 152° 59.805'

The route from WP2 to WP3 has a very deep washout and creek which would be difficult to navigate and has been removed. It was located at S 27° 39.920' E 152° 59.777'

The large log which housed WP2 is still at S 27° 40.052' E 152° 59.700' but to make the experience of seeing Paradise Corner I have moved it (The WP - Not the log) to what is now the posted coordinates. You will pass it on your journey.

The cache itself may still be at S 27° 39.659' E 152° 59.883' but it has now been under floods in 2011 and this year and is completely overgrown. You are welcome to search for the old Ammo can if you like.

The current final cache location is temporary until the park is completely opened after the flood.
