NOTE: We were quickly outgrowing the Schlotzsky's Deli so we decided to try a new establishment, this is a trial run for this month, so we'll see how it goes.
We'll be meeting at The Happy Badger
1855 S. Reynolds Rd.
(the old ABC Warehouse store)

Who:
Anybody that caches in the NW Ohio area, whether you are new, experienced, or just wanna know more about geocaching.
What: A monthly Meet & Eat for the Northwest Ohio Geocachers. Come alone, bring a friend, bring the family, plan on dinner or just grab a coffee, it’s all casual. Stay all night, stay an hour, stay 10 minutes, or just open the door and say "Hi", it’s up to you.
When: The first Tuesday evening of each month at 7:00pm ie. March 1st, April 5th, May 3rd (incidentally May 3rd will be the 5th anniversary of the date that Dave Ulmer hid the first cache in Oregon thereby creating geocaching as we know it. SA was turned off on May 2nd.)
Where: The Happy Badger, 1855 S. Reynolds Rd., Maumee, Ohio – the coordinates at the top of the page
Why: To allow new cachers and experienced cachers to meet and mingle. Normally in this hobby it’s a solo effort and you only read the names of fellow cachers in the cache logs and online, but here you can meet those whose caches you hunt and the cachers who find them.
The Happy Badger has free wi-fi wireless internet connections, so bring your laptop along with you and show everyone a caching or mapping program you like or pictures from a caching expedition or the cache page for a great cache that you think everyone will like. You can even bring a caching and technology question with you and the computer gurus in attendance will be able to offer advice. There are smart people in our group that have info on caching and mapping programs as well as websites and wireless internet.
If there are any questions, post a note here on the page and someone will happily answer it. Also, if anyone wishes they can log Travel Bugs into this event cache and we can swap 'em.
