Cycling the scenic, remote roads of Central Texas is one of my favorite things to do when I’m not Geocaching. Most cyclists are always on the lookout for good ride maps, and most geocachers are on the lookout for scenic places to cache. So here you go! This is another in a series I call Cycle Central Texas where I’ll combine my two hobbies.
Guadalupe Loop!: Cybercat's Edge Falls cache inspired this route. Secuded ranchland roads and incredible river crossings make this ride memorable. The legs on Hwy 46 (traffic but good shoulder) and 473 (less traffic, no shoulder) make this better suited for experienced riders, but its surprisingly flat for a Hill Country ride. Total mileage is 39.5 with three geocaches enroute. Be sure to stop at the Bergheim General Store for your snack because there is little else to be found until you get to Kendalia. Parking coordinates are N29 57.822 W98 26.662 Enjoy!

If you MUST drive instead of ride to the cache site, please drive carefully and watch out for cyclists who may be right around the next curve. It could be ME!

You will not need to climb any fences to find this cache!
