Restin' in Cartertown

A very quiet resting place, in this out of the way Smoky Mountain community.


Restin' in Cartertown cache may be reached by turning onto Cartertown road off of Ridge Road in Gatlinburg. Continue on Cartertown road until you reach Loop Drive and make a very hard right onto the entrance road to Cartertown Cemetery.

The micro cache is a camoflauge covered plastic prescription bottle (push down; twist off top) with a rolled up log inside. Please bring your own writing utensil to sign the log.

Please remember the exact place and position you retrieve the cache so as to replace it in the same manner!
