Cache hidden at a lookout, accessible by foot from Whakatane, or for the lazy geocachers, you can drive up all the way, parking your car very close to the cache.
The cache is a systema container. It initially contained: log book, pen, frying pan with 2 eggs, and a bottle of milk. This is the first cache planted by Beauty & the Beast and, to our surprise, this is the 1000th [active] cache planted in New Zealand! [http://gps.org.nz/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1208] Yay!!!
