No Dogs Allowed Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

TheGeoRover: I've not had time to keep up this cache and it's time to let someone else use the area for a new cache. Thanks to all who came by. It's been a popular spot. I'll be by to pick up the container- until then, if someone wants to adopt it before I get there please feel free to take it and drop me note!

Geocache Description:

This cache is located in Baroda Township Park. It is named because the kids call it the "No Dogs Allowed" park due to the no pets allowed sign right at the front entrance.

This is a great park with a nature trail, small lake for fishing (not swimming), baseball and soccer fields, and plenty of playground stuff for the kids. There is also a nice pavillion for picnics.

The cache container is a clear plastic container 10 X 8 X 5 with a white lid the original contents include:

  • Of course there is a log book and pencil for you to log your visit
  • Silvi the Travel Bug, the only dog allowed in the park!
  • Pentium 75Mhz Processor with heat sink
  • Official size baseball
  • Brand new pencil
  • Tom Clancy book marked for www.BookCrossing.com
  • Blank CD-R
  • Sea shell from Florida
  • Small rubber ball
  • Guitar pick

The terrain near the cache is a bit steep and slippery in places, use caution as you approach to avoid accidents
