Geocache Description:

This cache is located on the grounds of the Arsenal. It is open form 9am to 4pm Tuesday thru Saturday.

There is a monument located on a Ceremonial Indian Mound, nearby. It was dedicated to "The honor and commemorate the men who fought in the Battle of Baton Rouge in the war of the American Revolution, September 1776." This was the only battle fought outside the original 13 colonies.

While you are in the area visit the observation deck the 27th floor of the Capitol Building. I have included several pictures taken from the observation deck.
