Traditional cache located on the Mt. Airy Forest Trail System
A short walk (.5 mi round trip) along a gently flowing creek in Mt. Airy Forest. Take Trail H, the Beechwoods Trail, and follow it down to creek level. Trailhead is near N 39 10.370 W084 34.159.
As with the other caches in this park, you will see lots of deer and other wild critters. Cache is just off the trail; please do not exit trail until you are close to the cache. This trail can be very busy, so please use stealth when recovering this cache. The trail is hard packed earth, with lots of stones and tree roots poking through, so you may want to watch your step in some areas.
Cache is an ammo box filled with the usual geo-trinkets. ClayJar Geocache Rating System calls this one a 2/3, but I tend to think it's about a 1.5/2. I'll go with their recommendation, just to be on the safe side... ;-)
