Geocache Description:

This is a 3-stage multi cache located in Rockwood Park. The first 2 stages are micro containers with coordinates to the other stages. The third stage is a slightly larger ammo can. You shouldn't have to go more than 50-60 feet off the path for stages 2 and 3.

This is a theme cache.  The theme of this cache is books and anything to do with books.  Of course travel bugs are welcome!!  This cache is setup to be a book exchange where geocachers can come and exchange books to read at any time even after they find the cache.  We will perform an inventory once a month and post a note with the current books in the cache.  If you see one you like, bring another book to exchange.  The only thing I ask is if you take a bookcrossing.com book, please log it on the www.bookcrossing.com website, read it, and return it traveling somewhere else.

For the FTF, the following are the contents:

a $10 Barnes and Noble Gift Card

a book light

several bookmarkers

There is a special gift in the cache for the Insane Dog Posse.  Please do NOT take this unless you are the Insane Dog Posse.  There is also a special gift for Walden Pond.   Also, please do NOT take this unless you are Walden Pond.   Thanks!

Here are the original books being left in the cache:

A Time to Kill  By John Grisham

Call of the Wild/White Fang By Jack London

          The Wedding By Nicholas Sparks

          The Best of HP Lovecraft

          PostMortem By Patricia Cornwell

          Starship Troopers

Jack & Jill By James Patterson

There is some satellite bounce at the final stage, so your GPS could be approximately 30 feet off.  Be sure to take some time to enjoy the view at the final stage!  There are also 3 other great caches in this park.  Be sure to check them out too!
