Treasure hunters have always been drawn to bounties that promise
large amounts of gold. Throughout history, gold has often been used
to measure a person’s worth. Sometime around 1500 BC, gold began
making its appearance as an accepted currency in Egypt and other
countries in the world. As with all things considered valuable,
large amounts of gold have been stolen, hidden, and lost over the
course of history. Should you find any lost gold, you can choose to
place it in this cache…or not. So as to not reap ill-effects from
faulty advertising, I will let it be known that this cache was not
placed containing any gold. However, the cache itself is very much
a golden cache. Since large amounts of gold can be difficult to
find without embarking on a long journey, finding The Golden Cache
will be as well. To obtain the coordinates for The Golden Cache,
you must first find all of the Clear Lake Micro Madness caches
(four in all, you may find them in any order). Four-letter codes
have been written on the bottom of the first page of each micro
log. Once you have all four codes, you will have to figure out the
cipher to translate each letter below to a number to reveal the
actual coordinates of The Golden Cache. Good luck!
